In a way it is good that people after a certain age are given retirement. But it depends on a person's choice, like my uncle is 60+ and is still occupied. He retired from his job and then joined another company for he say's he can never sit idle. :)

no i don't support age limit for working. There should not be any age discrimination too. The main thing is to check for a person is the skill and ability to work for and i don't think unless a person is healthy and able to work there will be no problem with managing staff too. Why to bother for age factor, still this is practiced everywhere.

I think people should be allowed to work as late in life as they want, as long as they are still able to do the job. Personally I hate working for a living and am hoping to retire as early as possible!

My thinking that once you have worked 30 to 35 years you should not have to work again. If you are 62 or older and you feel you could still work go right ahead. I just believe there are to many people who retire at 62 or 65 and then die within a year. We need to be able to enjoy our lives with out work for awhile. Spending time with the family, hobbies, traveling. So I have worked for 32 years and now I can't find a job after working at one place for 25 years and another for 6 years. I think I shouldn't have to work anymore and enjoy my life. Especially with the way the economy is going.

I think the minimum age limit is great because it helps parents from extorting their children and making them work when they aren't mature enough to handle the environment and need to be worried more on school anyways. I think there shouldn't be a max age because people age at different rates and aging effects everyone differently. I don't see the point in setting a limit though - now if they wanted to set medical etc. limits then I can see that being so but it would have to be different for each job and what the job actually entails.

Well, children under the age of 13 shouldn't work. They have their studies to concentrate on and need fun to relax their stress, since they lack the experience to manage it. But from 13 to 18, they might allow teenagers to work limited hours, maybe 15 a week - this should help them develop a sense of responsibility and earn some cash, yet not excessively limit their opportunities to do homework and other stuff. After 18, they should lift any restrictions, although college students should be aware of their academic commitments before all else until they graduate.
