time and again the discussions about family life say that woman are the force that binds together a family, is it really true, i have known so many guys who have not bothered to get married again but look after the children with ease and manage a family with all the affection warmth, security and love.

i guess mainly it is but like you said, it doesn't necessarily have to be a woman too. there are many guys who do that too. he doesn't even have to be not working. he can be working and he can still do that. it all depends on the personality i feel. for example, in my case, i'm not the type who expresses her emotions and feelings easily while my hubby is. thus, whenever we go for a family outing or something, it's always him that suggests it and not me. of course, it's also because of his work schedule and all that it's easier for him to suggest a date but even if that's not the case, he is the one who's suggesting of places to go and all and he's the one who plays with them childishly while i look on and keep a watch on our belongings. but i guess it depends on how others view about it as well. they might think about it differently than me.
