If voting changed anything they would make it illegal

Hi, It's election day again here in the UK and personally I always vote. The only reason I vote is that in certain other countries people do not have the right to vote and I do not think it is something we should take for granted. However I firmly beleive that voting will NOT change anything. Why do you choose to vote (or choose not to) ? Ian

Ian, you're a cynic from the same stable as me, but I totally agree with you. I'm not voting today. I live in Spain, and I can have a postal vote, but I just can't be bothered, especially as I have seen reports of fraudulent postal voting. As you say, nothing is going to change. Minority parties can talk the talk, safe in the knowledge that they will never have to keep their promises. As for the main parties, all they are interested in is getting into power or remaining in power, so they can perpetuate the fiction that is MP's expense claims. There - I told you I was a cynic!
