What kind of musical instrument can you play?

Or at least, what kind of musical instrument do you want to learn? Me when I was in elementary and high school I am musically inclined because I'm close with my music teacher but then when I entered college I haven't got enough time to practice playing those musical instruments because I'm busy with my studies. I used to play flute, piano and lyre.. I also learned how to play the guitar because my college friend instructed me how.
I'm not good at drums but my little brother is. I would love to learn about that musical instrument but I don't have enough time for it..
So how about you? What kind of musical instrument can you play or wanted to learn?

I was inclined to music since my childhood. I used to buy flutes from the hawkers everytime they passed by, but could not play it. When I grew up and I started learning Banjo, but did not enjoy it much, so I switched from Banjo to Guitar. But I found it very hard to learn. Finally, I settled on keyboard instrument and bought a Casio Electonic Organ. It was a small children's model but when I learned fingering my elder brother heard me play and he bought me a bigger one. I would play it for hours. But I don't have any instrument right now and I miss my earlier days a lot.

I can play guitar. In my college days I attended guitar classes for four years and I am good at playing the instrument. With that basic knowledge,I can play keyboard but I can't play chords in it.That is playing the chords and notes at the same time is not possible for me.And I know how to blow the flute.Cheers!

Hmmm... I play just one tiny instrument... the piano!!! I actually got pushed into learning this instrument at first, but over time I grew to love the piano... and, gaining more performance (in church, mostly) gave me the confidence to play the piano... Hmmm...
For learning, I want to play the flute-the bamboo flute... It has such a wonderful sound!! I love the sound it makes--like I'm floating on air... It's really wonderful.. but my dad and I struck a deal that unless I've totally mastered one instrument, then that's the time that I move on to another... Uh, I really haven't mastered the piano yet, so I guess I really have to double time on it so that I can move on to what I want--flute!!!
Hehehe... Learning the piano has been such a blessing to me, and to other people as well.. My classmates have found out that I'm the closest they can approach for a special song in church, and the music department of the church can also rely on me whether they're a little shorthanded on the music people (accompanists)...
I really think God has placed this talent in my hands so that I can be a blessing to other people... and not only to them... but to myself as well... music has been a wonderful outlet for all my emotions and feelings... it's my psychotherapy when I'm down and depressed... =)
Hope you can get back to learning the musical instruments you used to play!! =) Have a great day...

Wow I hope I can hear you play piano :) Why don't you record it and post in youtube?? Well I was your reverse.. I'm not expert in piano but I'm way better in flute. I missed playing my bamboo flute.. I broke it once and my mom never bought me a new one..
huhuhu.. The sound of the flute is really pleasing to the ears and way back then the song I would repeatedly play would be Celine Dion's "My heart will go on" it sounds good when played in flute.
Just keep up with your talent and I also hope you will learn how to play flute one of these days :) and I too will someday learn better in piano.

I love to play piano and have been working on it for about 5 years. I play mostly classical but I have also dabbled in rag time and in jazz. I would be elated to learn to play some more modern music/play keyboard with a band. Regardless I love piano, and feel that it is a very good intstrument. If I was going to learn another instrument, it would be guitar.

As much as I really didn't get to understand how to read notes or play any instrument for that matter, I really wanted to learn how to play the violin. All I heard that it is really hard but, those who do play the violin makes it look so easy to do.
I also wanted to learn how to play a piano but, even though we had those electronic ones before when I was small, I really didn't get the chance to play or learn how. The next one was a guitar but, it also didn't get too much attention from me to really learn how to play that instrument too (^_^")

I started playing the guitar when I was in 5th grade. My friends taught me how to. After a few years I ended up learning to play the bass guitar. I try to play with my band once in a while just to bond. It is just the love for music.
I still want to learn a few more instruments just for fun. Maybe I will try to play the violin. I love watching people who can really play good music with the violin.

Hello cecille,
Well when it comes to music, I become so crazy about it. But I am not very good at playing the instruments. I love to sing, and I can sing with my guitar, but I am not very much perfect. I can play the music peace, I can just use up the chords and beats for now. I want learn and I hope I will learn in the future.
Besides I also like playing the piano. I am very good at finding the appropriate notes of a song in the piano, but my fingers are not still perfect that it can play the piano fluently...
You seem to be very much interested towards music, I loved it...
Happy mylotting, and good luck...

I love to play guitar. I learned it when I was in college and until now I still play the guitar when I have free time. I really enjoy strumming while singing at the same time. But I only know the major keys.
I also have little knowledge in playing organs.

I got my 1st guita since i was 15.but now i seldom play it.
ang i learn clarinet in primay school.
I don't suppose that hobbies like instrument interfer study,on the other hand, which help relax ourselves, unless studying around the clock.
playing instruments,at least 2 yuorselve,is better than staying here neither study nor play

The easiest to learn: guitar and piano. Just the basic, though. Nothing like I can perform.

I can play the guitar but I am not that good in playing it. lol. For flute, I've started playing it when I was still on my 5th grade because everyone is required to learn how to play it. But, if there is one instrument that I can play, and have to play, it's the piano. It's my true love, I may suck doing it but I'll never cease trying. *smiles*

I play a classical guitar...i play atleast 80% of my pieces 5 times in a week and play a 1 songbook once a week..in this way you wont forget what you have learned..dont like rock that much..but i have an electric guitar because i need to use it if and my band's going jamming...i can play a little bit of piano since i know how to transfer notes from guitar to piano or piano to guitar..but what i wnat to learn is the Saxophone..i think its a romantic instrument..lol..:D
you just need to practice those instruments you can play..ill give an example..my bro whose 12 yrs old is near becoming a virtuoso..he only had piano lessons for 1 and 1/2 years..so i think, even though your not musically inclined if your just persistent in practicing, you'll succeed in playing one instrument...:D
