Which is best .avi player?

I use VLC player because it is simple and it meets all the functions I need. I have experienced with the better GUI's but it lags a lot especially after it consumes all your visual ram.

The best ".AVI" player according to me is "VLC Player"... because it has the ability to play any ".extension" media file easily... Again in normal .AVI file volume quality is nt that load and this VLC player has the ability to increase the volume upto 400% unlike other media player which can increase the volume max to max 100%... so my choice is VLC player..

the best one iv found is called GOM player, you can download it from download.net. It plays quite a few different fiile formats too i use it to play all my movies and videos.
