Can what is going to happen to us be told by our star signs? I dont follow them, and dont think that they do. But on occasions when i read them they do fit what is happening to me, or something that has happened. Is this just coinsidence??

I think it is a little bit of both. You're daily horoscopes are really no indication of anything unless you get lucky that day. They are mostly vague and indescriptive so they can be fit into numerous situations. However, there are ancient civilizations who used astrology to predict major changes and events. I can't say I know much about the topic but it is interesting.

I think the problem with the stars that are printed in magazines and newspapers is that they tend to generalise a lot of people under just 12 signs. If you believe that what is written will happen to you then you will also have to believe the same thing is going to happen to everyone else under your sign. Stars are fun to read for their novelty value, but I don't think that a twelth of the population are all going to have the same experiences. Sometimes you can relate things that happen in your life to what was written in your stars, but I think this has more to do with the fact that stars always seem to predict something that is likely to happen in lots of peoples lives. For example, sometimes they might say you are going to enjoy the company of a close friend. This is something that is likely to happen to a lot of people. I don't think it is coincidence, just commonsense writing on the behalf of those writing the stars. Astrology can go a lot more precise than the twelve signs though, so I am not ruling out the theory altogether, just the fact that the stars written in magazines and newspapers are, most of the time very general in their predictions.

While astrology can be a useful tool in the hands of the right people, when it comes to forecasts, each star sign represents one twelfth of the population of the world. Therefore it cannot be entirely accurate, though it may point the way to the days and weeks ahead. If you can find a reliable astrologer, it may be worthwhile having an individual forecast. But do you really want that? A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. Treat astrology as a bit of fun, rather than a life plan.

It's just coincidence. Moreover, you just adjust the lines you read to your own life, that's all.Just think of the number of people out there with the same zodiac sign of yours. Can the prediction fit to every single of them? Not really.

I think that astrology is nothing more than a weather chart. The planets don't cause anything to happen to us but merely reflect the climate of a particular time, we have free will in determining how we will play out the symbolism of the astrological weather . .and we play these factors out in many ways. Where the planets were when out we were born links the influences of the planets to a persons personality, though take caution for this is not to assume a particular trait can define us precisely. How we channel the strengths (and weaknesses) of our very own and unique birthchart can help us weather this thing called life. Interesting to note that each planet rules a day of the week. Look at the English names . .The Sun rules Sunday, the Moon rules Monday and Saturn rules Saturday! Astrology can be fun and informative but it is just a weather chart in my opinion!

what he said ^^ just think, there are what? 10 different zodiacs, if one story will fit every one, we would all just be 10 different persons
