Sites loading to slow

This morning I intended to my ptc sites to catch up.
I am a bit behind. But one of my favorite sites are
loading so slowly so I am getting crazy. It is really
anoying when this happen. 
Can anyone tell me why that is, why some sites are
loading so slow sometimes. I now, it is not
my computer doing this. Becouse al the rest sites
are working fast.

It's probably the server that the site is hosted on. Sites will go slowly or not work at all if there is heavy demand on the server. It works the same as your internet connection - if you try to load 40 pages at the same time, they will all go slowly.

Well, at leasth you have internet connection... i was not able to access the internet for like 4 days because the service was down... maybe because of the none stop rain... and good thing the company was able to fix the problem... so now... even if it is still raining... there is internet access in which the speed was not at all affected...

Hello Anetteh , sorry for what you are facing . sometimes the same thing happens to me , it could be a problem from the site itself , either being reconstructed or passed it's bandwidth .. or it might be from your PC , if the site has a lot of multimedia or a lot of plug-ins which your computer doesn't support it will lead to slowness in reloading the site ..
check all these things then restart your PC , and I hope it will work faster

that can happen with your internet connection, if your isp drop down slowly, you can use proxy for your internet browser. May be you can this proxy :148.233.159.58 port 8080. That proxy will increase your internet connection.good luck.

I think the site is pressurized with many visitors ... usually websites are designed to cope with limited number of visitors and when this number is exceeded the site starts to be slower and slower ... and sometimes you can't even open it ...
