There are certain people that always bum cigarettes ask you for a quarter or wanna have part of your lunch. Do you know someone like that? We have this guy at work that never brings anything to eat or drink. He always looks for stuff to eat and always asked people "Is there anything to eat around here", "nobody bring any doughnuts", "Is there nothing to drink"?.. He's a nice guy and everybody shares but it gets old after a while. Do you know a Moocher.?

Hello, This is just awful and I know how you feel. I used to work in a pharmacy as a pharmacy technician, and we had a security gaud that worked there also, and we all will get paid on the same day, and for reason the security gaurd will go around and ask everyone that worked there all of different days, if some one can by him lunch etc, and some of the stories that he came up with, why he needed our help were just horrible, and you could tell right away that they were all lies and it really didn't make any sence, so I simply don't give out to people that i notice make begging a habit. Happy My Lotting!

What's with that guy? Maybe he doesn't have much money to bring any lunch with him. Although it only costs pennies to pack a PB&J sandwich. He could just be lazy. I remember when I was working in an office at this one job, whenever I would eat some kind of snack or candy bar, this heavy set co-worker would hover around my desk. She would constantly say how good the food looked and would stare at me until I asked her if she wanted a piece of my snack. She got to be so annoying that I would have to hide in the ladies room to enjoy my goodies in peace.

How funny, that's what I do sometimes at work. But I'm only checking out what people cooked, I always bring lunch.

Hmm... Well, I have had a few classmates in college - also in high school, when I come to think about it - who basically lived off of other people's kindness. It's usually got to do with school supplies (pad paper, pencils, etc.) but some actually go to the extreme of just bringing a spoon and a fork for lunch and mooching food from people using those. Now, I'd understand if they're really hard-pressed for money or whatever but that usually wasn't the case. It got quite annoying after a while...
