You know I was doubtful at first about that new bond, but I just watched one of his old films, he could pull it off in my opinion! Who do you think could do a better job?

New Bond with Old - But talented acting isn't necessarily what it's all about – look at Roger Moore, hammier than a side of pork. A successful Bond must have that ineffable quality, that sex factor that makes him dangerous, seductive and endlessly fanciable.
So has Craig got it? I'm going out on a limb here, but I would say he has. I suspect there was a touch of genius at work in the counter-intuitive casting of Craig. OK, so he's not darkly handsome – in fact, he looks more like a Chechnyan baddie than a vodka martini-sipping smoothie.
But his hypnotic blue gaze and air of damaged vulnerability do it for me every time. And besides (whisper it!), every girl has a soft spot for a baddie. Especially one in a Savile Row tux.
In the 44 years since the first adaptation of Ian Fleming's novels was made in 1962, five actors have attempted to capture the essence of this very British secret agent, while also reflecting the zeitgeist. Sean Connery is consistently voted the quintessential Bond in viewers' polls, and, as the Telegraph reported last week, the veteran Scots actor has given Craig his blessing.
