Has anyone heard of mturk

I was reading on the internet and I found mturk, it is a website that asks you to complete tasks. I am not sure how it works and I really want to do well and not make a mistake. Can anyone tell me more about this site and completings tasks. I really appreciate it thanks.

People post tasks to be completed with a corresponding payment amount. If you completed the requirement satisfactorily the client will pay you through Amazon. The problem is you need a US based credit card to receive the payment. If you do not have a US based card then your balance will be in the form of an amazon Gift Certificates in which you can buy books from Amazon using the certificates but you can't withdraw the money. There's no Paypal option.
