Have you eaten chicken feet before? Do you like it? Does it freak you out?

I'm just really curious how many of you out there has eaten chicken feet? It's a favourite dim sum dish in Chinese restaurants & the Thais eat them too as sort of an appetizer. The Chinese dim sum version freaks me out because the chicken feet is served as the chicken feet with bones & all. I like the Thai version, where it's been debone, and looks just like a dish of jellyfish.
I was told that chicken feet was used as a 'horror dish' in Fear Factor!

hehe, i hope i wont freak you out but chicken feet is my favourite dish!!!! it's interesting that you can put the whole feet into your mouth,and then out came the bones!!!! it's cool, i love it!

Bullfrog essence?!?!?! I'm sorry, wyykidd, but that sounds like some ingredient for a witches brew!! LOL! But funny thing, I just tried chicken feet for the 1st time just last night! Was ok. A bit tasty, but too much work for me considering the amount (or lack of) of meat that you get. Same reason I don't eat sunflower seeds unless they're hulled! And yes, they are pretty freaky lookin! Aloha!

I was told by those who eats chicken feet that the pleasure in eating the dish is to put the feet into your mouth, chew on them and then spit out the bone bits. It's not the meat they go for :)
Ah... The witches brew is really good! I'll take you for some when you come to Singapore! *LOL*

No, but my friend in middle school used to eat them for special occasions. It was a Polish thing!
