Once again, my signal is gone.

And that has been happening a lot lately. I have a connection with megared, a cable provider for tv and Internet down here in the south of Mexico. And they had been doing nicely the past two years. But I knew that this moment would come….. I obviously called them, had them send a technician, two actually, I called another one outside the company, and it’s clear, it’s not MY lan that’s causing the problem. It is THE COMPANY. And the company doesn’t know what the problem is, or they just don’t want to deal with it right now, it means hundreds of calls, complains and reports before they acknowledge that it is their server. This is going to take weeks, if not month, before I can count with a reliable service again. Changing providers is not going to help. I am going to move in a couple of month, don’t know exactly when. And the mere process of changing provider would take weeks too. So I’m in a catch22 situation. So you will be hearing from me a lot, since myLot gives me the chance to write my stuff without connection, and once I have a connection, copy and paste it. Cool.
