to find someone that "gets" my sense of humour? Does anyone else find this? Mylot seems to be the only place with anyone that has a sense of humour! DO people get your sene of humour?

Sometimes I find humour can get lost in translation when you're chatting on the net in text. A lot of the time you really need to know someones personality. I see this, when a British person makes a humourous post and sometimes people from other countries take it the wrong way. The British humour is quite dry and probably comes across as the person being rude or condescending if taken litterally.

Honestly, not everyone gets my sense of humor. Sometimes, I really want to joke about something with my co - workers at work, they just don't get the joke, and I felt so frustrated. Probably I didn't explain it good enough, or something wrong on the joke. So, I must need to work my communication problem.

I LOVE humour. People don't get me either. I have a very dry, sarcastic sense of humour. It's okay, don't waste your time with people who don't know how to laugh.

I don't know what kind of humor you have but it definitely must be this "special" one. I've learned that not everybody gets my sense of humor and that not everybody gets my irony. It's easier to find someone who gets your sense of humor here, on mylot, because there're thousands of people with different personalities.
