Sometimes, I even make a toasted sandwich with Peanut butter and Jam. YUM! What is a unique way for you to eat toast?

Yes, I like toasts. The easiest and yummiest for me is hot toast, buttered liberally with a sprinkling of sugar. I love peanut butter too but not with jam, I find that too sweet. Sometimes, I'll put a cheese slice in between buttered toast and warm it further so that the cheese just melts a little. That's yummy too!

I dont have a grill at home...instead we have this round iron griddle...so I put the cheese sandwich on the griddle, with a little butter on the outer sides of the sandwich and reduce the heat and let it sit there for a while so that the cheese melts inside and due to the butter on the outside, the toast becomes crisp on outside. Sometimes I'll put a salami on the cheese (when I want it to be sinfully tasty) and the flavours infuse and it tastes great.

We call that grilled cheese, but then again, you might be doing that a different method. Do you fry it in a pan with the cheese in between? Or just let it sit and melt?

Okay, yeah, that's totally good ol' grilled cheese sandwich lol. A good classic from my childhood days.

I pretty much only eat toast either alone, or dunked in egg yellows. Now, I do like Texas Toast, and grilled cheese sandwiches.

And I'm on a diet, so I can only eat 1 slice of bread. When I eat an egg, I put it on bread with mustard and today I had it with swiss cheese - YUMMM not toasted tho, the cats are bad and we have to hide if from them.

I like toast with scramble eggs...or with honey and cucumber... The combination of cucumber and honey is very unique and taste very good...

Hrm....now that you mention it...the cool cucumber, with honey sweetness and yet MORE crunchy goodness in the form of toast...that's clever....HOW did you come across trying that out?

I like toast, but I guess I don't like peanut butter. It's strange that it seems that people either love it or hate it. I just like to have lashings of ordinary butter on it but jam is far too sweet. I no longer eat foods that have lots of sugar in. - Derek

Good for you! But did you know that at your grocery store they have sugar free jams? In Canada the brand name is "Ed's". They might taste sweet to you, but those are just natural sugars.

Thank you for the information, but I have tried sugar-free jams, but I have a intolerance to even fruit sugars. I am totally OK these days though because I really don't miss sugar. I very occasionally have a fresh banana and enjoy it, but I must not eat too many of them. - Derek

I used toast for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before. I use it for breakfast. sometimes I toast my bread when i have a ham sandwich with mayo, buffalo sauce, and pepperoni. it's even good when you chop it up and put it in your chili.

I love toast with butter and jelly. Preferably strawberry. Don't eat it very often because of the carbs. Need to watch my intake. If I'm eating an egg that has a slightly broken yoke, like to dip the toast in the egg. Lately have been eating more wheat bread but don't really care for it when it's toasted.

I remember when I was a kid and thought the runny yolk was gross, but now that I'm all grown up, I can't live without it lol. And whole wheat toast is good for you, it keeps your metabolism up!

For the most part I love toast...sometimes I'm not in the mood for it but I still love it. My favorite way to have it is with butter and a little sugar/cinnamon on it. I also like it sometimes with applebutter or peanut butter on it. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

right on, do you do the whole cinnamon with the brown sugar too? I find that the cinnamon toast with hot chocolate is the best comfort food for me on a sick day.

I do like it with Honey or Jam . However,I try to eat it in limits as an excess of it is not too good for body .
