Does anyone own a WII game system? Me and my husband just got one. we made a bid on one on Ebay and got it. $117.00 was all it cost. And it works great. If yo never owned one before they are pretty neat to have. You can talk on the internet with it,you can exercise with it and play tons of games and a whole lot more.

This is a really good discussion because video games are really important when it comes to everyday life, because they are an excellent source of fun and enjoyment when you are extremely bored,or when you have nothing else to do like on those rainy,or really cold days where you do not want to leave the house for any reason whatsoever, and I know there are a bunch of different systems out there and different people like different systems, just like they are probably going to come out with even newer systems in the future, that is cool that you and your husband have one,and that you are happy with it,me and my fiance do not have a Wii but she wants to get one, someday because that is the system she wants,so we are going to try to save up and get it,my cousin has one,and one time when we went to visit her,she let us play it,and it did seem like a lot of fun,and it is a good way to exercise, and my fiances sister also has one,and when we went to see her grandmother while she was babysitting her sisters,we were playing the hula hooping game on the Wii,and I was surprised at how good I did, especially since I never used a hula hoop when I was a little kid, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

That is good that there is a lot to do on the system, and I am sure that she will love it,and I am glad that all the games make you have to move around instead of just sitting, because that makes exercising fun, which is something that everyone needs so more kids will be in shape, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

I agree it will keep the kids in shape in stead of sitting there. It can make them very active. It makes me active. Bowling is neat. I like to play that game a lot. Mini golf is pretty neat to. Have a great day.

I believe your wife will like the Wii game system to. There is lots to do on the game system. Its not one of those game systems to where you play and sit still with the controller in your hand. You have to move about with the games. And that is another thing I like.

We have it for over a year and I love it also. I use Wii Fit since I had a baby in 2008 and need to work on my tummy. lol Wii has a tons of good games for children. We have all game console systems such as PS3, xbox 360 but I figure Wii will be my daughter's game when she gets older

You have a lot of game systems. I started playing the new game bowling on the Wii. its lots of fun till you throw the ball backwards lol. I can't wait to do the Wii fitness I need to lose some weight. So it just might help me out a lot. I noticed they do have a lot of kids games. Some of those games like harvest moon i would like. Your daughter would like that game when she gets older.

I don't own one, but my Sister and her Husband were given one as a wedding present and they love it! I can't wait to give it a try when I get back to Australia as it looks like a lot of fun. The "Wii Fit" looks interesting too and I think it's great that Nintendo have looked to get people up and moving whilst gaming. The main game I want to play though is golf! I've always loved golfing games on consoles and to be able to actually swing to hit the ball and stuff sounds like something I'd enjoy!

The Wii game system is great and fun to play. We have the golf game. We play that and bowling. They are both fun and challenging. Those are my 2 favorite sports games on systems like that. It takes a little practice to get in the swing of things on those games. When you are use to controllers. Its different when you have to actually have to swing and hit the ball. But a lot of fun.

yeah my partner and i bought one last christmas for our 13 year old son. its the 3rd one hes had, the last 2 he got bored with after a few weeks then sold em. this time we said too bad it stays there. he plays a lot of the old game cube games on it as well as some of the newer wii games. also because hes home schooled it useful for his sports and music part of the educational curriculum that he has to do. i like it heaps and the games are awesome, but i cant play the ones where you really have to get in there like the boxing etc because i have a very bad back.

If you like bowling its fun. And so is the mini golfing. We are working on getting more active games to play to keep us active. I spend a lot of time on the computer to. I do a lot in one day. cleaning the house, unpacking from our move, tending to my flowers I planted and a garden and working on the computer. I have many jobs to tend to in one day on the internet. Then I play the wii.

My husband got a Wii from his parents for Christmas a couple years ago. We played it for a while, but the games were too darned expensive and there weren't many games in our interest category anyway. We sold the thing a couple months ago to help pay for living expenses.

We have a game stop place here and they get tons of games there for like $5.00 each for them. We haven't payed full price for one yet. And the new ones are not cheap to buy. $30.00 and $40.00 games are nothing to sneeze at. That is why we look for cheaper places to buy them.

Yep, we bought one in January of this year and already it has lost its "sizzle" it is sitting there gathering dust and lately it seems that I am using it more than anybody else in this house. What a waste of money. Unlike you, I payed FULL PRICE!! It kind of sucks!!

Its fun to play. Kids I don't understand how they get board so fast with something. But the Wii game has so much you can do with it I don't know how anyone could get board of it. And paying full price for the game system would have sucked. That is high priced.
