Hey there! This question just popped in my head as most others do.A random thought really. Has anyone quit his or her day job, because they can earn enough online? Perhaps someone who has a website, blog, is a freelancer etc. ? Come on and share your stories. Would love to read them :)

I think it's possible. By providing a service or selling things online, that dream can be achieved. The key word is word of mouths to spread the service one provides or products one sells. Get some positive testimonials and people will flock. One example. I see so many luxury branded goods like for the ladies especially; all brands like LV, Prada, Gucci, Coach and whatnot being sold online by legit owners. They go overseas, pay the tax bring back to their countries and sell the things online at a reasonable price or something. Or they have friends whom stay overseas and order for them and deliver the shipment to their countries for them to sell to others. So that is selling through online; through blogs and etc. I've seen some being very successful at it. As for other types of online establishment, I think some can market products too. Through online as well. Be a real estate mogul and get contacts from online or work closely with their emails and then get customers to view houses. There are also bloggers that make the cut. They have found the niche and they keep at it. I'm sure there are. In fact, there is one mylotter that makes around $500 per month through blogs; he has a few, and he just creates content (or get writers to do it) and he gains money from traffic or something. None too sure about it. Anything is possible and the possibilities are endless.

My guy zed has some very valid points! Now we are talking. As always, some wonderful tips and information you have provided right there! I think there are just a few factors that need to be met to make enough and more, online.Creativity, a nice web of contacts, consistency, hard work being the most important ones. Put them together. Be it the real world or the virtual world, one shall reap the benefits. Loved your inputs zed! Keep the ideas flowing. Thanks for your response as always!! Happy myLotting :)

It may sound nice, working over the computer and earn money but i'm sure you'd get bored very soon. Working only online, that isn't something for me. The idea of sitting all day in front of a computer for work makes me sick. Leaving home to go to work is still better as making your home your working place, and you wouldn't be meeting a lot of new people.

That is nice. But then there are people who have family obligations and a whole lot of stuff going on at home. So working from home online is a good idea for them. Thanks for your response and happy myLotting

Well i know that it is farfeched, but ill like to try it one day. But when i think about it, ill just waste my degree if thats the case. ill just do them both. I just hope im strong enough. But i know some persons (not personally) that have quit their day job for earning online and their income is the same as their day job so i know it works

That's nice. And may be you can even do something related to your degree, so your education doesn't go a waste. I am a software engineer by profession, but my passion is reading and writing. So I can combine them all if need be. Good luck and god bless :)

I am student so earning online is just like a part time job for me. I am unemployed so its a great way to earn some pocket money. I dont think anyone can make that much money online that he will leave his job , but if you start a usefull site then it is possible. Happy mylotting!
