hi all! have you considered this? which do you prefer, to work hard or to just have money? but that also means working hard and earning a lot of money in the process. or to just have money, like being rich in the first place, or winning in the lottery or something that you become an instant millionaire.?? in my case, i would like to be able to work for what i have. it doesn't hurt to have a rich family, as that would mean more capital for business ventures and not be limited by whatever meager money that we have. but i would also like to work and start something that would give others work. then i would give a decent income to them if i can afford it so that their lives will be better off because they have worked for me. also, i would like to work because i want to use my God-given talents and skills. i don't want to just continue vacationing someplace else, getting spa treatments, going shopping, etc. and just using my head to organize parties. what about you? do you prefer to work hard or just sit down because you have money? take care all and God bless you! happy mylotting!

I would rather just have the money, once you have the money you can then start doing something useful with it if you want to.

Hi to be practically wise, i have just the money. If you have the money then what is the necessity to work hard. For hardworking, you expect a reward and many expectsit in the form of money and gifts. Although money is not everything, it is something. Hardwork and money forms a part and parcel of living. It is absolutely un-necessary to work hard if you earn good money. Happy earnings over here. Happy mylotting

i have been working (8to5 job) since 1993, and i have five children from the age of 15 to 5.. and it is really tiring... to be very honest.. given the choice to work or be a homemaker.. i would rather stay be homemaker.. and given the choice whether to earn money from home or just be a normal housewife.. i would rather earn money from home, where i can dictate when i work and when i dont.. and given the choice of work hard or just have money.. i'd chose money.. like you said.. with money - if you 'use' it wisely, you can make more money.. you dont have to 'work hard', just 'work smart'.. money may not grow on trees.. but you can actually make it grow some other way..

I would have rather had money in the first place so that I could enjoy life more than I do now! If that was the case I don't believe I would have worked as hard as I do now, Who would? I can't imagine some one who has money already wanting to work when there are people who wont work and actually need to! Personally I would either way want to finish school and explore what I am good at and not so good at ... You wouldn't know who you are if you didn't. You can't just say "I'm rich" all your life and never know what you are really good at \!

I don't want to be a hypocrite by saying that I don't want to be rich. If there's a chance for me to be a millionaire overnight, I'd gladly grab it. But for now, I am working hard to get there.

I would really love to win the lottery, at least $10 million, so that I could buy a big house and spend my life having fun! I would also like to support my family and make some more sustainable charities to support the poor. I am on disability, so I can't work and my income is bearly enough to make ends meet, so it would be really awesome to have some money to buy things for myself (like clothes and shoes that are new, not from the secondhand shop)

Winning a lottery and becoming rich is also a option that i will go for if given a chance but there is nothing like working hard and earning. When we work hard to earn some dollars we learn the value of that and enjoy life in that way. Actually hard earned money is what i would prefer as the money that i earned will be from the skills that i am gifted with and in which i am good at. Most of the easy money are illegal money and these people live a life which is not secure.

Hello, I will rather work hard, but not to hard to earn money. I think if I was rich I will still work, I like to work it keeps me busy, but I only like to work doing what I like to do, and that is to design candles, anything else will be a hardship on me lol.In my opinion being rich makes you lazy, and have a bad attitude,so I will have to stick to work hard, but not that hard. Happy My Lotting!

i would prefer to have a LOT of money first. from there, i would be able to study the professions i would want to learn. i would want to be a marine biologist, a genetic engineer, and a movie star. i can't learn all of those things without money, right? after being able to learn, then i can work. for me, it's important to love what you do, to be able to follow your passions and dreams. after having enough knowledge and skill, i can start to work hard and begin "to earn" the money that i'd have. if you had a lot of money, you really would not want to work, but if you love what you do.. money would be the least of your concerns. having a lot of money does not always mean using it to have leisure and entertainment. it's not always about the glamour and the material consumerism that comes with money. given the chance, i would like to do charity work as well. after all, i can't have a non-profit organization without a capital to start with. in my opinion, one can both work hard and have money, just not simultaneously. what matters is how you handle the money that you have and how you value every single thing that you do. :)

I would like to work hard and earn my own money. Even though having money first is a good idea. But money is meaningless if u didn't get it from your own effort. You cant feel the value of money if get it too easy. Actually, how much money we will have in this life is already a known amount that given by GOD to us. If you think that you won a lottery is an extra money, then you are wrong. Because it is just the money that GOD give you earlier than what he planned before. So, you are using your future money. Enjoy your work, enjoy making money from work. Enjoy mylotting!

i prefer to work hard to earn money rather than having easy money... i never believe in easy money anyway... i always tell myself that there is no free lunch in this world... anyway, i love working rather than having nothing to do and wasting my time and money for nothing... that's what i had been doing anyway... working hard to earn money... take care and have a nice day...

I want to have money first so that I can do what I want to do. It is not that I don't feel like work hard to earn the money. But then, sometimes we have to work hard on things we actually don't like to do to make the money. Having money first means we are new free of money problem and therefore can really look for a job that you are so interested in and work hard on that regardless of the payroll. But then, I don't think having money first in general is a good idea. The thing is that there are just so many kids raised in those middle class family where they are getting lazy as they don't have any pressure to work hard on anything at all. We have a good old saying that "Richness cannot be extended for 3 generations" which simply means that the grandfather can be rich but to the grandson, it usually fades out.

Well, this is a tough one. Hmmm...cam I say both? This is really making me think. Ahm,practically speaking,I would prefer the second one. But as you said to have money while working in the process. It would be unfair if a person wants to have money in an instant ans then then using it on useless and less important matters well of course excluded for those who really are in need.

I like your ideas brother! Even I prefer to work hard and earn money. Having a few pennies at the end of month feels exhilarating! People who dream to be a millionaire overnight, can't be rich all the time as if a person earns money by gambling, he would put more of it at stake and he could loose. Yea, if I become rich some day, even I would work to open some jobs so that some people could earn their living. However, I would spend money to buy some cars...! Lol, I am an automobile freak.

for me is both....as iam a workerholic....who feel's when u work hard you will be paid latter. in this modern life, yes we need money..to fullfill all our want's. for me iam ok with what i have now. as a human being we wont be satisfied, the more money we have the want's will be increase to.. so we have to happy with what he have. conclusion we need to work hard and be smart to keep money.
