My type of Date movie

I have been seeing all these ads for movies that they call " a date movie" The problem? They are All " Romantic Comedies."I don't like the ' romantic comedies that are out these days. I don't find them funny non romantic.For me a real date movie is a thought provoking drama that you can discuss over dinner. Maybe a film with an open ending. That way I could really get to understand my date's point of view.How about you? what is your type of date movie?

Wow. i don't think I would see a light and funny film with a date.I prefer a serious film first and then after we have been together a while , a good action film.What is wild, lately I have been the one who likes action and the guy doesn't. Oh well, opposites do attract.

Me too, I am a woman but I don't like romantic comedy or love story type of thing,
I am a big fan of marvel comics, horror movies or sci-fi movies.
Once I had a date and this guy picked Garden State which is soooo girly
movie and I was falling asleep.
My ideal date movie would be.... from the latest movie I would say Star Trek
or so, from older one I love 28 days later, Saw, Taken et., I definitely be a
good mood if I could watch these type of movies for a date....lol

You are nicer than I. If a gentleman caller had picked that type of film , I would have canceled the date or would have changed it to just dinner.But then again I ask right off what his favorite movie is, If he answers is When Harry Met sally, then I Know we aren't for one another.It's over before it starts.

Definitelly Bram Stoker´s Dracula...a romantic masterpiece...brilliant...
