what to do if you are depressed???

Hello all ... I'm passing through a very bad episode of depression ... it's without any underlying cause ... I'm just depressed ... sometimes I even cry without any reason!!! what shall I do??? you are my family so I'm asking you

if there's no reason it's probably medical, your doctor can help and don't feel embarassed about it - it's very common

oh and other practical things that might help are making sure you eat properly and doing some exercise. yoga is fantastic by the way

I'd go talk to a doctor or counselour. Sometimes we can't always decipher the reasons that we become depressed when thier is overwhelming events in our lives. If it's caused by stress the best thing to do is work to better manage and alleviate the issues you face. If it is chemical depression you may need some medication even for a short time to help regulate what your body is going through. It may take a combination of things, maybe even just some fun with friends or family to help you out. Good luck, I know it can be hard to handle.

Just move towards a place where there is no human disturbance and where nature show all its beauty. Just close your eyes and take a deep breathe. That's the thing which will help you to blow off your depression! Just try this. You'll feel the difference. You can do this when you are free. But, when you are in some work, being depressed and need to get rid of it, just take a deep breathe. By the time you take the breathe, DO NOT think of anything. Just concentrate on your breathe. That;s all. Your depression will definitely be blown off. Good luck. Happy mylotting !

Although sharing our thoughts with others can be effective in lightening our burden, there are many who hesitate to express themselves even before their best friends. One must not overlook the fact that depression is but a moment. It is transitory. Therefore, it is important not to be overwhelmed by one depressing thought, which devastatingly eclipses and clouds our minds and blinds to us many positive things, which can easily lift us from our despair and gloom. Always think positively and optimisticly and work accordingly.

when i be depressed i listen music or go outside where i can be fresh such a market place. When you are feeling your depressed. if you sit alone you will get more depressed so go out with friends, do not live alone. You will feel that every one have problem then why to be depressed but enjoy your life

Sad to hear that from you. Yes, you are our family. So you can share everything here. I am sad to hear that you are deppresed now. With me, when I am deppressed, i used to listen to mellow music then I cry . With this, I was able to release all my emotions. Another thing that I am doing is that is I go to the seashore. I talk to the sea. It is really effective to me. I find comfort in myself everything I do that. I am not asking you to do it. But this make me comfortable. If I may advised, just do the things that will make you comfortable, and for sure with that you will be able to release your deppression. Hope this will help you my friend. We are just here for you.

When you are in severe depression you need to indulge yourself into some activity which you really like to do. it could be anything but should be creative, like painting, reading, music so on and so forth. You need to have faith, It helps and I am telling this from personal experience. Always try to keep your mind diverted into something which interests you most. If you have a true friend and you can share the reason for depression with him/ her it would be the best blessing you would carve for. Get out of the state dear friend and feel better.

I know that what you feel, it feel as if there are to much problems inside you but you don't know what there are... I also often get depressed as you do, and when that happen, i just be honest to myself. Sometimes the problems are very simple but our ego and perhaps we are to embarrassed to admit it.
