aussies r out of the T20 tournament,almost.

hi friends.aussies lost to windies big time and now they r in threat of leaving the tournament from the first round itself.now they have to win against srilanka and that too in big margin and hope srilanka lose to windies because of the huge negative run rate.even if all the 3 teams wins one games each,aussies r down and out.
so how many of u r willing to bet that aussies will be out in the first round?
btw why india is placed in a group with 2 weaklings while group C is loaded with superpowers?wont it be fair to have 2 super powers and one weekling just like in group B and D because with this grouping,we r sure to eleminate one great team from the first round itself

I hope what you are saying comes true. I very much want to see the Aussies out of the tournament. I want to see the dominance of the Australians come to an end. I want to see the Australians crying for victories. I want to see them becoming frustrated. I want to see them getting beaten by the minnows. I want to see them down and out. I want to see that all the cricketing nations give them a knock out punch each time they step out to play games. And due to all this I would be the first person to get the happiest to see their captian leave cricket in frustration. How beautiful that day would be.

yes i saw the match and it was great to see them lose. and watching them being destroyed by the gayle storm was even more pleasant. the other possibility for Australia to still be in the tournament is to beat the sri lankans and hope they lose to west indies as well which will be a safer way for them to reach the next round. i do not think something like that will happen and i would be surprised if Australia beat srilanka. as far as the group placings are concerned they have been placed according to their positions in the previous t20 championship. the associate teams were placed at the end. India in group a and Pakistan in group b as they were the finalists. then the semi finalists were placed in the next groups. that is one team in every group.now starting from the last group the teams who reached the super eight stage were placed. Bangladesh are placed higher than the west indies since they reached the super eight stage. and Ireland is the replacement for Zimbabwe who is not playing in this tournament.

Aussies are in very dangerous situation now. It hard to predict what will happen in T-20. It will be no to bet on Aussies.As per groups are concerns you are right there must be two superpowers and one weak team.
