I forogt to tell y'all about weighing the other day. Don't know if you remember, but I only lost 2 pounds for May, with exercising more and counting carbs every day! Well, for the first 4 days of June, I didn't count. I figured I can lose 2 lbs a month without driving myself crazy worrying about every bite of food I put in my mouth. I did my exercise bike 1 day and Wii balance exercises. Both hurt my ankle, so still not able to do much exercise. Anyway, I lost 2.4 pounds in those 4 days! Can you believe that? I quit worrying so much and lose more weight. I think I'm one of those people who stores cortisol(stress hormone) and holds on to weight when I worry about it too much. That's the only conclusion I can come to anyway. I'm just happy the pounds went away!

Sunnflr- Congratulations! I'm the same way, when I worry I store a ton, if I'm carefree and just doing life I am better off. Weight goes up and down anyhow for various reasons but if it is consistantly going down each month you are doing really well. Keep up the hard work! I've plateaued myself, but I keep doing my Wii daily. I fell last weekend and bruised my knee, hip, and ankles, and wrists so working out has been difficult but I do try to do a bit so I don't loose my rhythm. Namaste-Anora

Oh No! I'm sorry you fell. That's what I did...twisted my ankle(ended up I sprained it) and busted my knee. My ankle is still giving me trouble. It swells every day and I'm not supposed to walk much or anything. I hope you get to feeling better soon!

Thanks a bunch, I do too. With two little ones crawling and walking around I'm on the go a lot, I don't have time to be nursing these pains lol. I'm sure in time it will heal on its own and I'll be back to normal (if there is such a thing. Take Care and have a wonderful weekend. Namaste-Anora

Hi there! Congratulations with the weight loss! I guess it's more effective when you don't expect that much and exercise while having fun. It's great to know that you can quit worrying and just do what you can and be pleasantly surprised by the result.

Yeah, it was a nice surprise. I hope to lose a few more pounds by the end of the month. A few each month is better than nothing!

Wow, that's crazy! That's a lot of weight to lose in such a short time. I'm actually trying to drop some as well - I'm not counting carbs, but rather going biking more often, and occasionally jogging. I hope to see some of the same results that you got recently.

I think stressing about it the whole month of May may be retain water or something, so when I quit worrying I lost some weight. I was jogging and walking until I got hurt. Hope to get back to it soon. Good luck with your weight loss!
