In the past I made my own yogurt with my sister. We had to add our own fruits and honey to sweeten it,you can't compere it with the one in the store. Now my only why I would buy another none electric yogurt maker is because of the demand in the house I got for just yogurt itself, as it stands now 4 pots of 650 grams each, disappears within 3 days already. So how about you how much do you love yogurt?

I used to have a yougurt maker which I used to make my own yogurt. It was pretty good, but I think you can use just about anything to make yogurt. It is a pretty simple procedure. I like the process of making yogurt and it tastes really good. I think it is also good when you can add your own fruit or sweetners to it.

You are right about the chemicals. Its scary the ingredients that goes in some products in the store. I'm happy to know that you make your own food from scratch which allows you to bring down your grocery bill. have a good day.

I make yogurt without a yogurt maker. All you have to do is keep a more or less steady temperature. I have made it on top of my dehydrator when I was using it for something else, and I've made it in a thermos. Just be sure to warm up the thermos and the milk, along with the culture.

Forgot to say that I mix it with fresh, frozen or canned fruit. I have also put in a package of instant chocolate milk mix and it was really good.
