Mental and physical torture by in-laws

After marriage what all problems did you faced with your in-laws. this question is for the males as well as females. because sometimes males also stay at thier in-law's place and have to digest very insulting words. in a female situation i feel mental and physical torture , both is there. they are tortured more badly as compared to males. i feel it is very revolting and i cant stand the situation. sometimes husband only beats his wife and you cant even do anything becasue that dumb as*ho*e, dont want any other person to come in between of them. i have seen such a situation with my own eyes. she was my servant's neighbour and my servant when told me , i went their for help and she told that i am no one to come in between. its her and her husband's matter and too personal. so what are your views on it. please share.
