Have you ever made a long trip on the city bus?

Hey Friends, I'm just thinking and wondering if anyone has ever taken the city bus and made a long trip, like for a day or two. I once took the city bus and I made a trip across country, it took me about three or four days to go from my home town out to California. I was fairly young then and in good health. I didn't have nothing on my hands but time so I didn't mind the ride. I met some really interesting people along the way. What about you? What is the longest trip you've ever made? Did you do it by busl, train or plane or a ship? Now that I'm a little bit older I don't know if I can sit for really long periods of time like that anymore. I guess it would be interesting to see if I still had it in me or not. Tell me about your experiences of traveling a long time, did anything funny or exciting happen along the way?

Okay Zach thanks for sharing, I give you props because I wouldn't know where to start if I wanted to catch a bus these days. I used to ride them back when I lived in my own home town and I even knew some of the bus routes but since I been grown and on my own I can't say that I even thought about riding a bus but good luck with it, you are right, it sure beats walking.

Hi Citychic, The longest trip I ever made was by plane from the U.S. to Naples, Italy. Before my flight I didn't know that I was prone to air sickness; needless to say, I was very sick, luckily I was only dry heaving. Many people on the flight were sympathetic and helpful to me, and I was in my 20's. I have often wondered how a cruise ship would affect me, because I want to take a cruise some day. I wouldn't want to get sea sick too. For now my feet are firmly planted on the ground.

Hey Clutterbug, well at least it was a good life experience for you that you had and that is something that you will be able to share with your children and grandchildren about some day. If you want to try out a cruise you might want to go something small perhaps in your town or a nearby town before you decide to take on the big one. I want to do a cruise one day myself and it will have to be soon because I really don't want to wait until I get over the hill because all the cutie pies will be over the hill already by that time....lols, I would say in the next year or two I want to do it so that I can still get out there and prance around in my bikini, lols............. Thanks for sharing! Good luck and who knows, i might just run into you out there on that cruise, hopefully you won't be heaving and stuff, just kidding.
