A continuation of the judgments to the further separation of church and state given by the supreme courts in the U.S. One decision was in 1992 when the Court found that prayer at public school graduation ceremonies violates the establishment clause and is therefore unconstitutional. (Lee v. Weisman) I have a one million contact campaign for a business social responsibility project that is open to individuals. To get anno domini changed to anno globus. To have university catalogs, magazines, book publishers, newspapers, and business correspondence to change to anno globus or to have both years printed. So in getting others to join in and 'change the world' i have created a letter that can be sent to the above organizations. To Whom it my Concern: Everyone on the planet is aware of globalization and changing anno domini to anno globus would reflect this awareness. Ever since Magellan started the completion of circumnavigation of the globe the world hasn't seen an end to this trend of globalization. He started the final leg of his circumnavigation over 490 years ago this year. With the digitization and most people having access to the world wide web this change is as easy as typing in a few digits. Products and services are traded all over the world and so people have come to know that differences exist. Languages, customs, and religiions are some of the easily identifiable things that exist no matter where you go on the planet. I am sending this brief letter to you in hopes of making the globalization trend more democratic by changing from anno domini to anno globus. Thank you, Your Name Here, Now if some of you were confused about what the one million contact campaign was about then I hope this letter helps end the confusion.
