This is the year of the South Africans. There are reports that some people had dreams of the cup coming to South Africa. Looking at the performance of the other "stronger" teams, it is just imposible for SA not to win. Look at the SA team, they are very competable, even captain Creame Smit is getting runs on the board, that says a lot. Our bowling attack with Botha and Van der Merwe doing damge, who wants to face them, not to mention Steyn. Then AB, Morkel, Boucher, Gibbs and ven der Merwe, to mention just a few, can hit any bowler back to his own country. I'm telling you, the cup is coming to SA. Any one who wants to disagree. I am open for comment.

I don't know about seeing the cup in SA but I am sure we will see it soon ;-) South Africa is looking very strong and committed. I just hope they don't choke again at the crucial moment. I think as long as Johan Botha is in the side and playing as vice captain we have a good chance. Albie and AB impressed yesterday and they are only warming up. They will improve when facing better bowling.

I still think Johan Botha is a better limited overs captain and you are right, maybe Graeme Smith should fake an injury. I think the time is right now to have two captains, one for test matches and one for limited overs. I am happy with Graeme Smith as test captain and Johan Botha as limited overs captain.

That is a very good sugestion. Two captains would make a big differense. Maybe Smith will bat better if he only plays test cricket. Enjoy the cricket

The team loves Greame Smith and when he is out injured, they play their hearts out for him. Mabe he should fake injury and let the team do the job. He can be replaced by any one, who would actualy get runs on the board. He is very inconsistent. I don't like him all that much. Make Botha captain and we can pull it through. Thanks for support. Blessings

i like many of the south african players in south africa like mark boucher, jacques kallis, johan botha, roelof van der merwe( you have to like him to know his name), albie morkel and most of all j.p.duminy what a fantastic player he is. and they do have a good team and i would like to say something but it is not because i do not want them to win. if you remember they had a good team in the 1992 world cup actually the best in all of the semi finalists i think and then again in 1999 they looked like they will win it and again in 2007 50 over world cup they looked good and in the same year in the t20 championships they looked pretty solid. unfortunately they have never won any of the before mentioned tournament. let us hope they are not unlucky this time and deserve what they get. and if they deserve it they will win it not because people dream about it.

Hi, The best deserves the prize. Last time it was India who stood till the end and recorded as the first ever world champion in the T20 form of cricketing history as the West Indies were the first champion in the ODI world cup. I do not say that SA is not capable of clinching the Cup but cricket is a funny game and you can not predict anything. The Netherlands beaten English team was looking much stronger yesterday and they thrashed Pakistan. India too have strong claim over the Cup for this is the most balanced and committed team India ever had. As Indian I would expect the cup to come to India.

SA had many opportunities that they through away in the past. If captain Smith can just handle the presure, I think SA might pull it through, they owe it to the country. Thanks for reponse

INDIA also looks a Balanced side...and all the players r in top form...There is a strong Batting line-up for INDIA-Gambhir,Rohit,Yuvraj,Raina,/Dhoni & Yusuf....Sehwag arrival will be a great Threat for the Opening bowlers of any Opponent...Also Bowling side is very strong with the top form of Ojha & Ishant... Also we cannot say anything in this form of Cricket...there is also a possibility of Any other team other than SA & India, winning the World Cup... Both INDIA & SA HAS 50% CHANCE OF WINNING THE WC...

Everyone knows T20 is unpredictable. But last time SA lost a match against India which is the only match lost by SA. But they gone out . Before losing to INDIA everyone hoped SA will be in semi-finals. The same situation is here. SA is in great form , but a match can turn things upward down. During WorldCups SA is always unlucky. Hope this time SA can make them to go through finals.

Yes, I should say I'm simply amazed looking at the current South African team. They look stronger than ever.. I'm not sure why Kallis was sent to open the innings the other day but, he did put a better display. Look at their team. I mean wow, Smith, Kallis, Gibbs, Develliers, Boucher, Morkel, who else you want? All are big hitters and perfect T20 players.. South Africa really have a great chance in this tournament. In short, I'll say I won't be surprised to see South Africa winning the tournament.
