My kids and I watched this new movie UP last night and if you like sad movies then you will like this one, but if you are looking for laughs then just look at the previews cause that is the only funny lines in the movie. The rest was sad and made my children sad. Many kids at the school were looking forward to seeing it this weekend but this morning no one is talking about it. Just too sad for our kids here I think. What did you think of this movie? Are you planning to see it?

i totally know what you mean! my little brother is 12 years old, and took him to see it thinking that it's a family movie, and had nothing to be worried about. but closer to the end he just started crying. i figured it was just for a bit, and then he would stop. but he kept crying. and once we got home he was still crying about it. i had no idea how to console him! i really wish i would have been warned. i would have never expected him to be so upset after a pixar movie!

Glad to see that we were not alone though I am saddened to hear how your brother reacted to it. We should be warned that the content was so serious. Thanks

I watched the movie and loved it. It wasn't sad at all, well i guess some parts were but those parts were also essential since they made the story great. I think people should still go ahead and see it. I know that most will love it as well..

You know what is crazy? I had never heard of this movie until one of my preschoolers told me they went to see it! I don't know how I was missing the previews, lol. The child that told me she went to see it though said she really liked the movie. I had no idea it was sad!

Ya a preschooler would probably love the colors and the very likely characters and not be as aware of the sad plot line as my older kids are 8, 10, and 13. But it is definitely sad. Thanks Jennlk

why do you said so ? i think all pixar's movie are not so funny, because they just give the morality to the movie for children. They always give a funny part even it is not make us laugh. But pixar's animation is not like the other animation. The picture was perfect, and most of their movies won the oscar. So ? Why is it so bad for 4 u ? i really want to see this movie, i've planned it since last year
