Put on Hold....

I'm currently on hold to talk to someone at a local drugstore. so far, my wait has been about twenty minutes. It's annoying, but I can understand that it's a busy store.
So what is the longest you have ever been on hold? Have you ever been hung up on while on hold?

I think like most people, I hate being on hold. I actually think that twenty minutes is unacceptable even if it a busy store - they should offer to call you back rather than make you wait. I think the longest I have ever waited was around 15 minutes and I got so annoyed I haven;t ever accepted being put on hold for that long again. I have been hung up on before aswell yes, and believe me I was fuming!!!!!

I ended up being on hold for 45 minutes. I finally went to the store and it turned out that the customer service automation was messed up! At least now they have it fixed so no one else has to suffer through that again!
I can't imagine being hung up on by customer service--I would be fuming, too!

My longest is about half an hour - being put on hold doesn't really bother me as much as it does with some people.
Since I just sit here and mess around with my computer either way, it doesn't matter to me if I've got the phone next to me .
However, when people hang up on me while I'm on hold, that shows extremely poor customer service, and it puts me in a terrible mood.

Wow--good for you! You must have a lot of patience. I was annoyed because I had never been put on hold at that store before (it's pretty new), and the music levels were poorly set. VERY loud, and the music kept skipping, too.
Turned out that the automated machine was messed up, so hopefully no one will have to be on hold for so long, or suffer through the loud/skipping music!
