So for months okay years, two in fact I have been begging and pleading and praying that my wonderful husband would get a job that would mean that he will no longer be working from home. He finally got that job, last Monday was his first day. I had an awesome week with the kids, they were so good, we were busy but it was a good week.. The ironic part, the be care full what you ask for part. We had two emergency's things last week, JM had an accident with scissors one emergency room visit with three five year olds and two stitches later, we survived but boy was it interesting having all three in the ER at one time.. Thank goodness my neighbor is an ER doctor, as a result they normally get us right in and right out. But we were there about 1.5 hours. fast forward two days.. Douglas ran an extremely high fever, thank goodness this time I had a neighbor that could watch the other two while we rant to urgent care, three hours later I arrive home, Dh has gotten home and has the other two. They thought he had an appendicitis attack, but turns out, (thank God) it was just a virus.. So here I was for Years begging for him to not be home and finally he was not home and well will not be home and twice in the first week it would have been nice for him to work from home. Had he been here I would not have been so frantic to find someone to take two of them on two different days. But then yet if he were still here I would still have to be digging that hole in the back yard, or as my daughter says trying to sell him.

Hi meandmy3 . .boy can I relate . . be careful what you wish for lest you get it!!! I am sure as you get used to the new situation there wont be so much drama! Thank goodness you have a great neighbor and everyone is well again! Every situation lends itself to us to learn something . . and maybe you just reminded yourself how wonderful it is to have your hiubby around and so now when he is home from the office you wont think twice about wishing he wasnt. . . happy lotting to you ..

I love my husband, but it was not good for him to work from home all the time, his new job will allow him to work from here if we have an emergency etc, but it can not be on a regular basis. Thank goodness. We were always together as a family, he was always here, he never left. it drove me CRAZY... I am loving this so far, even with our week of drama...
