Would you rather have POWER or WEALTH?

Who doesn't want to be rich? Who doesn't want to have power? Most of the time, these two things are usually hooked together, but if you need to pick one, which one do you want? Let's say would you rather be a millionaire or CEO of a big chain institution, being a millionaire, for sure you have lots of lots of plenty but nobody knows who you are, so you are just a regular person; being a powerful person, everybody knows who you are, respect you, listen to you. Whichone would you prefer?

Id just rather be happy tbh, but i guess if i had to do with one it would be weath because you can use money to help others. I supose you can use power to help others by influencing people. Both power and wealth can take over people, and make them do stupod things. So i would just like to be happy, and have enough money to get by and not have to worry. That would be my ideal situation.

Hi mermaid...I would definitely want to have wealth. Power is mostly in the heads of the people who believe they are powerful and I don't want to be in the public eye. I'd much rather be someone behind the scenes giving my money to as many people as possible...

For me, I'd rather have health than power. What's the use of al that power when you are about to die or suffering from a certain illness. But with good health, you can still pursue your search for power.

i would rather have power. in that way i can influence (not force) people into using their wealth to do good things. even if i'm not wealthy, i know that my power allows me to advocate changes for the betterment of majority.

I do prefer to choose "Wealth"... You know what, i think when i have a good wealth (very rich), i could also have a power. I mean, that power is not about physical. The power its related with an ability to control or deal... You know what i mean mermaidivy?

I would prefer to have wealth. Having a good financial wellness would be better for me. There are alot of wealthy persons who are well known and some will not consider to called them powerful because of the down to earth demeanor that he/she portrayed.

Definetly power over money, but I guess if you had more than a couple of million then you could get pretty much whatever you wanted. But having power then again means you can do whatever, but even if you had all the money in the world you would still not be able to get away with genecide : )So I guess I would rather have power than money.

I would go with wealth. I'd have no problem being a normal person if I'm financially secure.

I would rather be wealthy. Wealth can buy power. You can invest in company and be a director of the company not just a ceo. You pay your staff well and they will listen to you, though can't guarantee you could get their respect.

I will pick wealth because if you have money, you can do quite a lot with the money such as setting up a company and hire a CEO to do the job. It is not that with power you cannot find some rich people to pay for whatever you want. It is just having money to look for talent is easier than being a talent and look for somebody with money.

I would prefer to be rich LoL I think I don't need fame. But you know nowadays if you are rich you are also famous because you can do anything you want without worrying the financial thingy unlike the common people hmmm example the actors and actresses.

Hello mermaidivy, If you say I can be a millionaire and nobody knows about me, definitely I will choose wealth over power. But I think if you have power, you get more respect and money will come with the power. I don't think powerful people like a CEO of a company doesn't have money.... But, I rather live a normal life with a lots of money...I think that suits me better

i would choose wealth... i can do a lot with it and can help people and my community even when i dont have that power. i can build income livelihood programs, help the poor have their own income, build daycares for the children...etc. etc. and people will still respect and love me. while if one chooses power, that person will have many enemies and also become controlling. even if a person fave power not all people will respect him or her if they dont use it wisely.

Unfortunately either power and wealth are not going to make me happy. I don't need power in my life. Wealth in the other hand can be used in good will, so I have rather wealth....

I would definitely rather have wealth. Power can be a pain in the butt and hurt relationships. I feel like being powerful could be very stressful. I don't really care if people know who I am, think I'm cool, whatever. I can buy them into thinking I'm cool with money. haha.

Hey, No way would I want to have power, because 'with great power comes great responsibility' and I don't want to be responsible for everyone. I would much rather have wealth for myself and family instead of power. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

To me, wealth usually equates power. They are one in the same, if you ask me. Answer this: have you ever seen someone in poverty having power and influence in society? Very rarely. At this point, I would say wealth. I don't really enjoy controlling people too much and I don't really understand how I could use having 'power' to my advantage. I would rather be financially stable and just enjoy life, than try to control everyone else's.
