Live theater. Movies are perfect, but reality isn't, right? So I find live theater so much more entertaining. It's as if you could relate to the actors onstage. You get struck by the orchestra and the playwright. Unless you're a critic, you experience something simply new. It's great. :)

the only experiences i have with live theater i didnt really care for the show in general so i dont think i can really say one way or another since if it had been something i WANTED to see i might prefer it

As an aspiring actress I prefer to go to live theater and to see other actors performing right infront of me. I find I learn alot just watching. I myself have been in a few small plays and atmosphere is amazing, every night is slightly different. I also love cinema and in particular foriegn films too.
However my favourite performances are actually Opera. I have been going to Opera since I was a little girl with my grandma and I have always been astounded by the vocal skill of the performers, the elaborate costumes and set, the music and of course I love dressing up to the nines too. Something we really get to do in this day and age.
