Great question. Until that time arises, I don't think any of know what we would or would not do until we've done it. Even in that moment, I think our inner being will take over. It probably would also depend on the individual situation. It's a good thing to ponder over however.

i think this is really a tough question. to me, it depends on the conditions. if the one i love also loves me very much, then maybe i'm not gonna choose to sacrifice my life for her, because if i were die, she would be very sad and maybe feel guilty for the rest of her life.or it's me who will be sad forever. i'd rather leave the sadness to myself.

Yes, i would! in a heartbeat! It's something i don't have to think about. I guess it's my way of repaying them. Maybe they might underestimate my love for them so giving sacrificing my life would prove them wrong and would give them the impression that i value them so much more than my life. I would rather kill myself than to see them get hurt. I would protect them at all cost.
