Everybody is worried because swine flu is spreading fast here in the philippines and our government is not issuing any statements about this cases. I think we have more then 60 or 70 cases here in manila and this cases are coming from schools. And now i heard that one of the clinic that situated in one of the mall here are positive of AH1N1. although its not yet confirmed but still we have to be alarmed and cautious about this swine flu. So filipino here in mylot, what is your reactions and what should we do to prevent it.

Since the spread of the first case reported here in the Philippines, I was expecting more would come since the first infection came from a local wedding held in one place and it spread. I guess the DOH has made their best efforts to stop but when a carrier has entered undetected we cannot tell how many will be infected. Right now the best thing to do is to arm ourselves with awareness, proper hygiene and proper nutrition for our body to be able to combat being infected by it. Also for those that are confirmed infected to responsibly report to the government so that they can be treated rightly and avoid the spread of the disease.

yes, after i heard about it, i didnt go to the mall. because everyday i have to pass the said mall going home. if i do the other way, it will be long walk but then with all the issue, i tried to have that long walk than passing the mall. For one, just to make sure because we have a 4months old baby and i dont want to be reason who infected her. Although i know this is just a rumor becasue they said other malls also are infected but im just making sure that i will not get it.
