I believe that factory farms are really, really the place we breed new disease.
I watch a cable TV channel today that shows how animals that are breed in the factory farms for the sake of our mouth are treated inhygienically. Also the use of antibiotics on those animals + dirty environment makes a good place for the viruses to grow and mutate.
It was mention that swine flu had killed lots of people back at 1918 and its repeating the history again, only this time it becomes a global pandemic.
It really scary that what we are going to eat grow in an improper environment.
I was stunned. It really open my eyes that being vegetarian will help people eliminate new diseases, especially those that are breed in the facory farms.
If you don't believe it, you can check it at the internet.
Nowadays, there are more and more people, scientists and experts, agreed that factory farming will bring the world into an end.
An ironical ending where people can actually avoid.

I don't think that going vegetarian will solve the world's problems,I don't think that they leave these animals always in there poop if I can put it this way, otherwise they would have problems with the government and they would not be in business, disease will happen anyway in the animal world. We do have animals at my place and believe even if its not that dirty some will die of whatever they caught in the air. We had goats and they had bladder worm, and it is a disease that can't be treated because they don't have anything for yet so we lost all our three goats one after another,we saw them dying away. If you have farm that pack them too much in one confine area they are more prone to diseases and they have to be checked daily to be sure there is no problems. But anyway, have a good day.

It's just a speculation don't you think so?
I used to think that way too. If people, all people, turn to be a vegetarian what will happen to the animals in the world, what will happen to the businesses?
The truth is that we can't avoid the fact that livestocks leave a large carbon footprint. Even the UN had already declare that livestocks' carbon footprint are far more larger than all of the transportation in the world combined.
The effects are clear, diseases and climate change.
So what are we waiting for? Do you want to wait for the world to be fully devastated so that you're willing to make some changes? When everything is already been too late?
Well, people can quit the livestock business and start organic farming. That is one.
You know that fossil fuel aren't good and not sustainable and experts are looking alternatives save-energy-efficient vehicles. What will happen to the drilling companies if there are no more fossil fuel demand in this world?
Don't you think this is the same like your question?
There are many diseases out there so I don't think that we should contribute in creating new disease. Enough cause I concern about my children's future, the world's children's future.
Thanks for sharing.
