Does a student need CELL PHONE?

yes student need the cell phone. but not in class room. just limited to use.

hey good question.....i had got this same topic in my group discussion during my graduation.....i think that mobile phone have become a necessity than a accessory....a student must carry a cell phone now a days as the world has become a place of uncertainty....no one can say what will happen in next minute....with cell phone students can be constant touch with their family.....and the college will also be in contact with the students and can contact them and personely give them any message.......but at the same time students must also follow the rules that are set by the college....such as it should not use mobile during a class....mobiles should be on silent mode or switched off......

Oh yeah. They need it. In case of emergency, they will need it. And for communications. They can send sms for leakage of the exam. LOL

It depends in which standard he is because if he is small an if the school bus comes to pick him and drop him home then I o not think a cellphone will be vey important so it really depends he is in what age group.

Yes they need that one but we have to take restriction to avoid to used bad habbides........ Cell Phone is the instument that would be good if you used in right manner it you would used in wrong way it would be very bad a other any instrument.

i think a student will need a cellphone so the reasons are all the same ..such as normally he/she will stay outside from home and so are always around so i think a cellphone it can be suitable for these purposes..in reality nowadays a cellphone is suitable for quite all the people apart children i guess..

Earlier students and cell phones parents and teachers would yell. But in an era like this where phone is like a necessity i dont think there should be any problem. Nowadays parents itself give their chidlren phones. It keeps them informed where their child is nad incase of trouble the student can call for help.

yeah they do because if there away from home and dont have a phone where there staying then its the only way they can communicate. I think they are essential for students as not all students especially at uni are not living at home and its the only way there family can call them.

No,I think student do not need to bring cell phone.I dont agree if school allow student to bring it because there are many disadvantages from cell phone in study time.I have seen my friends brought it without my teacher information because we are not allow to bring cell phone.I thought my friends use it for call her mother to take her after school.But they play a game in their cell phone and message other people.So,i dont agree if student are allow for carry cell phone.

Ya,of course,i stay in hostel,so for getting in touch with my parents I need a cell phone.But it's different case when it comes to students who are day scholars.can I ask you ,are you a parent or a student?Happy mylotting.

course he does,almost everyone in our class gets one,at least make sure you could be got in touch with.i believe it's necessary.sometimes i left it at home or the cellphone is outta battery,i felt extremely annoyed,bcoz i already accostumed to use it sensing messages,phonecall,taking pictures or even play games when tired...it would sucks without it
