In Singapore, other than studies, CCA or ECA are quite important. They are group under sports or uniform groups, or performing arts. These activities are to help to cultivate and nurture the other potentials within students and also to create an all rounded system in the school. So i wondering if it is the same for other countries? if so what are the cca's that you guys attend? Singapore students are free to post here too Personally i attended CYA. Changi Youth Ambassador which is a rather interesting cca where we are entitled to volunteer our services in Changi Airport.

i think extra curricular activities help in the holistic growth of students. most extra curricular activities are volunteer work, which can test the dedication of the students. it's not wrong to try joining some organizations or clubs every once in a while, but a student must know how to prioritize and manage his/her time.
