Do find it very hard to find time to spend with your children? The children now a days have to make their own entertain ment as parents can not fit in or afford to have time out with their children. What do you think?

I don't get enough time to spend with our kids. They are grown adults now and busy working. Two of our kids live in our city but the youngest lives in another state. I look forward to spending time with all 3 girls around the holidays. Our youngest comes in town for Thanksgiving with her family.

It is hard to do anything "special" with my children with the gas prices on the rise. I do find time however every single day to do something with them. I bring them outside and play, bring them to the park, we read books together or we just sit back and watch a good movie together. I think it's very important to find time every single day to spend with your children. It's important to them and to the family. Even if it's only 20 minutes a day I find the time to spend with just my children.

I do not find it hard for me to spend time with my son since he is only 4 years old currently. Of course it is a bit challenging since his age right now is the age where they copy what everybody does and want to do what older kids do. But I try to buy him things that can help him learn at the same time have fun. For me, it is important to spend time with them even if they are going to take a bath or just eat lunch/dinner. It is good to be around them so that they won't get attached to the helper and would enjoy spending more time with you instead of other people.

I don't have any kids but I can understand that parents have a lot on their plates trying to make ends meet. However if I had kids I would put time aside even if a little to spend with them.

I always make time for my kids. We are a very outdoorsy family and we always take the time to go on a hike together and it gives me a chance to talk to them and keep up on the new things going on with them. It doesn't cost a penny and it's a great way to spend the day.

I always try to find time with my son. Like i take him to the YMCA to go swimming. I take him to the park. Even a trip to the store and buying him a toy is great. This weekend I am planning his first trip this year to the beach. Hopefully it will turn out to be great.
