Why Do We Feel Sleepy While Listening To Music?

While listening to the music at our home , office or some other place. Why we start feeling sleepy..........?

Yeah, I feel that way sometimes, even if I'm listening to very loud music, with earphones I still get sleepy. I have no idea why. Maybe because our body needs to sleep, we can't control it.

I don't if anything most music wakes me up for the fact that I wanna always wanna start singing the song and think about the meaning of the song.

It all depends on how u feel while listenin to music. for most, music is a pastime, something they enjoy. for me music is relaxing , empowering or energizing. when i listen to music however my mood reacts to it thats wat happens accordingly. even heavy music can bring comfort.

I dunno why but it happens to me too. When i play a song called "Sinnerman" by Nina Simone, i always start dozing off like halfway through the song. Its not a boring song or anything, i just think it depends on how the instruments and beats are used. Check it out and youll see what i mean.
