I read 4 blondes a few pages by Candace Bushnell and it was so so so dirty the first three pages were so offensive that I couldn't take ti, but it was really funny. I was not sure how to react to it. Anyway, women were in the habit of using men for their own benefits. I believe that women should be strong and take care of their own needs and a woman should soley depend on number one and the man too.
Is there any good reads out there that reflect that in a Christian manner? I love my classics, but those classics get tiresome after awhile and I hate anything too melodramatic that I can't take it. I want something like Jackie Collins or Daniel Steel without that. :O)

I'd suggest Memnoch the Devil by Anne Rice. I don't know if it's a good summer book, but, it's a really good book. Cheers!
