House rule for the Constituent Assembly was already passed and this people who passed this law can change our constitution without letting the people know. They have hidden interest on passing this law and pushing for a Constituent Assembly. We can't let this happen. We cannot give our future to this selfish politicians and their colleague. Share your insights people of the Philippines!

Yup I guess that is their strategy now that they know that their party would not stand against the opposition once they unite as one big opposition party. I really would not want to happen a scenario that PGMA would again rose to power because Congress made a law that would allow her to become Prime Minister. I think they are really playing around with the law and I really believe that she should now let others claim the presidency in the coming elections.

Even if this congressmen were saying that there will be no term extension for the elected politicians, when the ConAss is pursued then it is possible to make a law regarding this or they can just change our type of government to parliamentary. Yes, PGMA will not have a term extension as a president because she will run as a Prime Minister.

In Parliamentary system Prime Minister is not to be voted by the People but by the Parliamentary itself. So if GMA is to run she must run for Congress in her district then if she wins which I think she would she can run for Prime minister to be voted by the Congress. That is the strategy I am thinking if the Congress could really change the constitution this fast. She might as well elude from being sued upon by the next administration because she wold still be in control.

Nice point there that is not overruled if we draft it but it is probable. Only that politicians really are in the midst of loosing their position so as to counter act the event, they have to do something for themselves alone but not for the filipino people.

I'm in favor to CONASS after 2010 election . I they do CONASS after 2010 election is more acceptable to the people than today. Because our constitution especially economic provision need to be change in order to cope up today's world economy.

I think CON-CON is better because a convention will be held to amend the constitution and different people of the society will be asked to join the convention.

I don't like to put GMA as the prime minister as to the current situations she cannot resolve for the filipino people. Corruption has gone mad in her term, a lot of unemployment not yet uplifted to least unemployment, poverty has gone wild in her term, PGMA scholarship were not funded but corrupted(as I was about to apply, they said that program has no funds). There is nothing more for GMA to occupy the seat, just an event of sake to have the position in the wrong hands.

In her term, there were really unemployment, poverty, and corruption. It was already there before she became the President. They can't resolved these problems because they are just simplifying the problems. Quick fixes! They will give employment to people but for a short span of time only. (six months) There is poverty due to corruption. These greedy people only think for themselves, benefiting for themselves only and not for the Filipino people.

No to ConAss. GMA had already served the country for quite a long time and sadly, the country had not prospered even if she claims that GNP is like this or that percentage. I am not in favor of her being the Prime Minister of this country.

Yes, the economy is not just measure through its GNP. There are many factors and the greater once are the proof that PGMA didn't do her job well as a President. We cannot stop the ConAss but I hope this greedy congressmen wake-up on there illusions because they are in the position not because of their power but because people voted for them. They should serve the people and the country and not themselves.
