Do you think kids should be allowed to get a job 14+ ?

My kids like most kids get an allowence. This was working while they where 6-10years old. But as the are geting older like 14 they seem to need more money. I think that if they could get a job it would further teach them of how work = money. Besides allowence or money from me.
