would a burger a week mess up my diet entirely?

How much junk food and/or fast food can I eat without jeopardizing my healthy diet? I know that I couldn't stay away from fast food permanently because I live away from home and fast food is the cheapest and most convenient place to get my grub. However, I do try to stick to home cooked type of places if I could but I'm not always lucky. Do you guys think a burger a week would mess up my diet entirely?

I don't think having one a day would hurt you too much. You could always ask them to leave off the mayonaise that should help, and skip the bacon of course. Eat it with a side salad instead of fries, you should be just fine especially if you eat more healthfully the rest of the week.

I do always request for a no-mayo order. I don't like mayonnaise :P Too bad we don't have the option to get garden salad instead of fries. I just have my friends eat the fries in my order when I get it :P Is ketchup bad?

I don't think eating junk food once a week will ruin your diet... i read somewhere that even the those strict diet regimen... gives people a food break just to unwind the appetite... so if you would strictly stick to the once a week thing... then i think there i no danger in that...

Does it say how much I can eat on my "free day"? I don't think it's actually a good move to eat "anything I want" on that free day, because that might ruin all the diet I had for the rest of the week!

Hi! I'm not sure how much junk food/fast food can you eat without ruining your healthy diet, but I think a burger a week wont cause anything with your diet. I've read in the magazine about some people that stick to their diet for 6 days and then spend a day eating everything they want. And I think that's a great, to have one day of not getting worried of what you eat.

No! Never!! Infact its good to have such foods occasionally, though excess of it harms a lot!! And as you stay away from your home, its justified... Enjoy!! Keep Healthy!
