I once watched a reality show titled "Tim Gunn's Guide to Style". I heard him mention "the rule of thirds" when wearing clothes.. I don't seem to follow with his explanation. But what I understand is the proportion of your body, there are three equal parts... from there you can find the "cut" (which I really don't get)..
Can somebody who has a wisdom in fashion explain to me this... hehe:) Thanks!!

Many designers and artists are aware of the rule of thirds, where a picture is divided into three sections vertically and horizontally and lines and points of intersection represent places to position important visual elements. The rule of thirds can be a very useful guide for composing designs. So it can be applied to design of clothes as well. We can analyze designs by laying down grids and from there you can see the cut which can be applied as rule of thirds.
