When you are traveling and visit a hotel, do you typically take advantage of all of the amenities?
I'm currently staying in a hotel for the rest of the week while my fiancee is here on business. For the most part I plan to relax which means I'm going to take advantage of the hotel pool and gym! Already this afternoon I went swimming, to the hot tub, and then laid outside in the courtyard to dry off and get some sun.
It can be fun to stay in a hotel once in a while and just relax!

If one's in a hotel, I think it's only right to use the hotel's facilities. After all, as a guest, one's surely entitled to these. Unfortunately, I don't take advantage of it. I don't use the pool because I think that pools might be dirty - that's just me of course. I have not tried using a gym at a hotel, but I think, now that I am a gym rat, next time I'm staying at a hotel, I'd definitely be at the gym.

Hi Jennlk,
That is the right thing to do!!I do. I typically take the advantage of all the amenities of the hotel.lol
. I love those hotels with the pool and gym, unfortunately, some of hotel only have the gyms but no pool. But that is okay, as long as i can do some exercises get burn some calories instead of eating and sitting in the hotel room whole day!
Just enjoy that! Have a nice trip!

I usually stay in locally owned guest houses or unusual accommodation. I have stayed at a few hotels. The one in the Maldives had a huge and very inviting looking swimming pool. It was popular with other guests surprisingly enough. I liked going on some of the snorkeling trips and hiring a push bike. In Australia I did some day trips and the boat landed at fancy resorts. I liked trying out the hot tubs, swimming pool and water sports. I went para sailing which was really exciting and I got some really picturesque views.
