I often find the times I'm the sleepest of course I can't sleep, always have something to do and the minute I'm free to do whatever I'd like with my time, such as sleeping, it never seems to come. Only find myself wanting to sleep, when I have everything else to do but that, and when I have absolutely nothing to do, but know I'm tired, it never seems to happen. Irony, don't you love it. But when I do find myself in those times, trying to sleep, or just tossing and turning, I turn on cartoons, don't know what it is about them, just takes me back to those days of being a kid, worry free, makes me feel at ease, at home, and I tend to relax and feel safe, and they have such simple story lines, they don't get you over engaged and keep you awake. Instead when you finally do drift off to sleep, they tend to boost my dreams, spark some crazy ones, make my imagination work while I'm sleeping, finish that episode of Tom and Jerry in my head. I've never slept better than when I was lying next to my ex. Every time it never failed. Guess I just always liked the way I felt around him, the comfort he brought to me, my sleep would almost always come instantly, and it'd be that deep kind of good sleep. But if he left the bed for anything, it's like I knew, I'd wake up, I do miss that about him I must say, I slept better when he was around :/

hi, there, thanks for response. i read your post and see you also suffering a lot from the bad sleep. I think you just keep too many things in your mind. I used to suffer bad sleep either, and i found a way to cope with it. THAT IS RUNNING. I keep on running every Sunday morning for about two months, and it's really helpful. Cos running is good way to exercise, to activate your body's nature immunity. And don't worry about too much about the future, HAKUNA,MATATA, right? Moreover, dont spend to much time working in the night, take a walk or do something relaxing is helpful to go asleep. wish you good luck, and don't think too much about your ex hubby, cherish the things in your hands. May you happy, my friend!

Hello tuanshun. There are times I had this problem whenever I cant sleep. What I do is, I keep myself busy like fixing my things. I also like reading a book and listening to soft music. If Im still awake by then, I'll do some arts or watch tv.

I think it's normal, my friend. Don't think too much about it, then you'll be all right. Sometimes i think someone can't get to sleep just cos he is afraid of the bad sleep. Psychological factor is the main reason for sleep, do you think so?

hi, med, i think reading is good way to help to go asleep. Just be yourself and don't consider too much about life, then you'll be all right soon. Wish you good luck.

This has happened alot to me in the past and it would drive me crazy. I would then put the TV on or read. The usual problem was that I couldn't shut my brain down. It would keep going - thinking and thinking. I've heard you shouldn't be on the computer before going to sleep or even watching TV in bed.

yeah, staying away from computer is good for your sleep problem. Take more exercise and take part in social activity as much as can, then you'll be more happy and you'll got the fast sleep!
