Many people says that friends in need is friends in deed. The person who helps you at your poor condition is your best friend.
do you people agree with this say?
I want to say you all abt the concept of mine on the same , "Best friend."
I think the person who helps you in your bad condition is not your best friend; but he could be described as a good friend.
In my concept the best friend is that whom you love very much.
whom you miss most of the time.
That can be your classmate, family members, or any pet animals. With whom you can keep in touch at the time you want, desire. Your good friend can be turned to be a best friend, but only because helping you, sharing your times, good, bad, all this is not for being a best friend, but it more than that of best friend and that is a good and understanding friend.
Your best friend mean whom you care alot, so he/she/it is your best friend; you might be his/her/it's best friend or not, but at least he should appreciate your care, interest for him, to say that he is your best friend.
It might be very long and so confusion too. so in short..
My best friends = Whom I care, have time with them, miss them and desire for their
presence around always. No need to share any matters, just one side
is enough, another side should appreciate only.
My good friends = Who cares for me and my bests. Available at my needs, shares time,
ideas, goods and bads. No need to miss.
want to know from you friends, "whom do you think is your best friend?"

me, i always say that my mother is my bestfriend , i can tell her anything and everything, i trust her all my life, love her so much...although i have some good friends whom i can lean on in times of troubles, it is still my mom that i can say my very best friend.
now that i am married my husband is an addition to my best friend...

You have well understood me, my feelings and my description on friends.
You are the one of them who really can idendify their good relations. You have best ideas and decision. Well wanna congrat to your parents, specially your mom for god has awarded her by giving a daughter like you.
I am confused how to admire your feelings. what to say that satisfy you completely. Anyway, you will be always remembered to me for your this responce.

Hi,AB_Singh!You do well in thinking and summarising.I admire it.As I see it,my best friend are those who I can talk frankly to,share almost everything with.My best friends can understang me perfectly and always stand by my side.Once I saw a saying:"Never walk ahead of me,I may not follow;never walk behind me,I may not lead.Just walk beside me,and be my best friend!"I think best friends can back up us both physically and emotionally.

Nice to have your comment. M happy to read your responce on this topic with appreciating my feelings and point of view.
Reading your statements above still I want to write you in brief........
He is your best friend, not because he do all the way favour for you, not for he helps you. It shows that, you getting something from him, so you made him your best friend.
Your best friend means you shouldn't have any expection from him/it. You always spread your love and care for him/it.
In my regards Even an animal or nonliving things could be your one of the best friend. Whom and what you don't want to miss any time. Who/what keeps you away for tensions, erases sad spot in your heart, and creates different environment for you by the time it should be.
so, friend; I mean best friend is not for how you get responce form him. But best friend mean that how you responce and treat to him.
M I wright? If you find me anyway wrong, plz, don't hesitate, don't feel dominate for any matter, am same like you. Wanna share your ideas and wanna spread my ideas. That may bring positive changes in your life or in my life,

You may be right.But I think it's unfair that an animal,like my pet,can't be my best friend.Perhaps I didn't make my view clear enough to understand.Of course I'll make every effort to support my best friends without hesitation.I think they fully deserve my care.It's a mutual process.Each side considers the other as his/her best friend.

Oh I'm really sorry, I don't really have a best friend because my standard for a BFF is high.. I'm the type who choose my friends wisely. I have a group of close friends whom others may then consider best friends but for me I consider them "very close friends" not best friends.. I believe I only have one best friend and that is Jesus.. He's a perfect illustration of a true and best friend.

Thanks for your responce. Even lately but you devote here, and I am happy for it.
Really you have good idea about the friends. You know the classification and standarization of them. Yea really all friends are not your best friends. They could be your good friends, close friends, you may share many things with them but still, best friends are some more ways different from them.
The one whom you have choosed as a best friend is real a best friend for all. You really a wise gul. Wanna say you thanks for choosing him as your best friends.
But besides all these, one day you will find your best friend that may will make you forget your current best friend. And JESUS is looking for this. Coz, he is always responcible for his duties. He looks for this world, so he can't be someone special. So, make him free, don't bound him.

I have always considered my mother my best friend. She has done a great job raising us. When my father left us when I was only 9 she insured we were fed. She didn't have a job but when a field trip came up she tried her best to pay for it. My mom has supported me well over the years. She helped me through my pregnancy and was there when i delivered my baby. She is the best friend I could ever have and hope for.
Another best friend is my fiance. We have had our problems over the years but we have sticked together and he has given me the best thing in life and thats to become a mother. He is the one who tought me how to face my fears. Both him and my son are the two people I think about the most.

Thanks for your responce. yeah, most of the people considers their parents as their best friends, and MOM is more special. Except some people who treats their parents as a burden, by forgetting how and in what cost they were survived by their parents. What their parent has sacrified and spent all their life for their kids. How difficultly were their all small small demands were fulfilled to make them happy.
Forgetting all these, they follows some guys and guls. That's the matter where tears overflows. Any way.,///////////////////

I think my family, my mom and my sister is my best friend, I personallydon't have whole heck a lot of friends, I have couples but they are just friends to hang out with, to eat with but not like I can tell everything to them, but I can tell anything to my sister and mom and they will definitely help me no matter what the issues are about and they never leave me so they are my family as well as my good friends!

Thanks for your responce. yeah you are wright. Whom you find most of the time around you and you miss them a lot not seeing you a bit time. You never feel irritation by there presence and talkes, but you love and enjoy instead. You are always available for them. Such personel is your best friends and those are your mom and sis, so you have best decision and wright people for best relation as a best friend.

I would desribe a best friend as
someone who is constantly there for you no matter
what
they help you through your darkest hours
they are their to cheer you up and make you happy
and love you for you
its normal to have your little aruguments once in a while
but you get over it
a best firend is someone there till the end

My best friend is my boyfriend. I love him so much and if a day has pass by without me seeing him, I right away miss him. We share the same interest and love to do things together. Sometimes, we simply stay at home and talk the whole day. We often daydream together. I like the way we deal with things together.

Best friend for me is the one that I like most.
She is being there for me in time of my bad
moments and good ones.
Extending help to me even though she is not
so have extra funds in her self. Willing to sacrifice herself
to have my own good.
Whatever happened she is still there for me. Suggest and
support whatever the will of her friends.

So, are you ready to make her your best friends too. Then you should be ready and available for the time of her need. I think you will do this, and wish you all the best.
Don't think of returning her what she has made for you, always think other way to sacrifies yourself to her favour.

Yes. very good question. i hav lot of friends in my village and in my college also. but the tru friends are whom which may help us during our critical situations. n my college i saw lot of friends those are nnot eough to make real friendship,they will give me company and enjoy the time and go.no use from them. but n my villagejafar,shaju,sarafutheen are some of the true friends i hav. they will help me in any critical time.

Thanks for your responce. But friends who help you in your critical situations are not your best friends , they are you good friends. Your best friends are , whom you want to help in their critical conditions, with no expectations.
You make somebody your good friend mean that you have someone to support you in your bad times or troubles.
You make somebody your best friend mean that you are ready to help him at his bad conditions or trouble.
so, good friends and best friends are differentiate here, this way.
Your best friend must not human only, it could be any animal or nonliving things as well, with whom/what you spent your most of the time. You miss him/her/it in absence. That erase all your stress in your mind as you find him/her/it infront of you.

a good friend is one you've pissed off or quarreled with,bcoz it's a good chance 2 find whether he/she or even yourself knows how 2 forgive and strike up the friengdship again.there's no such friends they never quarrel,and it's the time 2 show the courage 2 forgive.forgiveness may make your friendship more firm and make each of you more mature 2 know how 2 deal with others.next time you quarrel with him/her or someone else,you could quickly calm down and fing the best way 2 solve it

Best Friends are the one who love u, care u, correts u when u are wrong. every day me meet 10 people in that 5 may be our friends, in those 5, two of them we used to be close, in that 2 the 1 to whom u share your happiness, your problems etc etc. The best friend knows in & out of you. Even when you move other places the person remains in your heart & mind keep thinking about them.

I would like to say that the best friend i have is not only one. I have many friends and they both help me whenever iam in some kind of problem or i need thier help.Best friends always ready to help you at anytime and in anywhere you are. Some times your best friend becomes your lfe partner as you know each other for a long time and very well.So friends is those who makes over life better.

In my post I have mentioned in clear way that the friends who helps you in your problem, and wish for your good are good friends.
Best friends means only you thinking for him/her. you miss him/her all the time. You don't expect anything special from him/her but always wish to do something special for him/her. You always reliase your mistake in every argument instead him. You ask for forgive and readily forgive for any of his mistake. Such special person are your best friend. Do you have such personality friend?
Your responce says that coz, you are always favoured by then so you prefer them as your best friends.
I suggest you to read my post, peoples responces and my comments on their responces, then you could have clear view for what I mean.

when we talk about friendship the famous proverb that strikes everyones mind is
"A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND IN DEED " . it doesnt mean that friends r friendship is just about helping each other . its a boon for human beings not only for human beings to all the creatures in the world. everyone can say that they missed manything but no one can say that they dont have a friend . on seeing this topic my friends and those days gives me a pleasure . hats of to friendship .

Hi..for me my best friend is someone who is there for me in any times..In good time people always want to stick around us as often as they can. But best friend is someone who I can count on anytime, good times or bad times.. they don't have to be around me all the time but I know for sure when I'm in bad times I can always count on them.. A best friend to me is someone who i can count on to talk to whenever i need to talk. Someone who will be there for me whenever i need them. A best friend will never stop talking to you over a little petty argument. Best friends stick it out til the end. Even if your best friend might be an animal! That animal or person wil love you unconditionally. and you will love them the same. My beat friends are my husband and my friend for over 15 years....Angie!

Actually this is the nature of good friends. Actually good friends never stop talking and interacting with you for some pretty arguments and something meaningful. Even you may get anger, stop talking to him or become meaningful towards him; but still he accompany you by unknowing or even by knowing all these. He would bear all your pinches, arguments and never would let you feel that you have loose him. He won't let you down for your hopes, success, joy and whatever you desires. These all are for a good friend.
For best friends it's bit different in my definition. Best friends means you bear his every arguments. You don't stop taliking for your meanings. you expect him all the time around you. You miss him a lot most of the times. and all these may or may not happen in the case of good friends.
