I catched a lizard when I was younger as I saw it in the kitchen and was on top of our food so I tried to kill it by hitting it hard with a plastic tumbler. I killed the lizard and its tail was already disconnected from its ody when the tail was still moving. I was shouting in my surprise to see that but I have read something about it why it was like that. Scientists says that lizards have reflexes on their tails thats why it moves even if its already disconnected from its own body.

Not to worry it will grow a new tail. To bad your wife won't let it in your house, lizards are great insect control. Blessings

Oh dear, not at all. I'd be too terrified. I have experienced having a lizard fall on my head when I opened a door. That really creeped me out.

i would never even try catch a lizard with my bare hands. yes i do like them inside the house because they partly contribute in insect irradication but i dont want to be anywhere near them let alone touch them. one time it was late in the evening everyone was asleep and i got thirsty i didnt know the lizard was on top of our refrigirator's door so it fell off and zoomed in straight inside the ref when i opened it...i had no idea what do to to let it out. i tried getting a stick and banged the wall of the ref. to scare it out but to no avail. i didn't want to close our ref because i know for sure it will die inside. So even if it was against my will, i woke my husband up and told him to take the lizard out of our fridge...haha cowardly me.
