I've been trying to lose weight and I decided to use my wii and wii fit to its advantages. Does anyone use their wii or wii fit to lose weight? Has it helped?

I am probably one of the few people who never jumped on the wii "bandwagon," however, I notice it being talked about more and more, especially this whole deal with the "fit board." I never new quite what it was until now. As you probably gathered, I personally have never used it, though I do think it is pretty fascinating how things like this are being used to enhance peoples' fitness journeys. I think if it makes exercising more fun than by all means go for it!

I have been trying to lose weight with my Wii fit. I've found that I don't like it always berating me for gaining weight, lol. But if I lose weight on it, it makes me happy. It doesn't seem to be enough of a workout for me to lose a lot of weight. But I tend to use it as a followup workout. For example, I'll go swimming first for 30 minutes or so. Then I'll play on the Wii fit for 30 minutes since it is fun. This summer I will be running too. So hopefully that plus the Wii, plus the swimming, will help me to finally lose some weight! Or at least some inches, because really the number on the scale doesn't phase me anymore. It's the number on the back of my pants that I want to change!
