i haven't been out of the country since then. i only had 1 hr in a plane when i got to visit my parents in law. i can't imagine staying a day long in a plane like going to the US. it would usually take a day to travel by air there. what's your longest stay inside the airplane?how's the feeling by the way?

The longest I have stayed in the plane is when I went to India. It's 2 and half hours from the Philippines to Singapore and 4-5 Singapore to India and its exhausting because I have almost 10 hours stop over in Singapore. I honestly don't like a long flights because I find it hard to sleep in the plane and normally I just watch movie or listening to some music. The feeling inside the plane is okay for me, except that the seat is not that comfy.

unfortunately, i haven't tried to be on a plane. because if we plan to have our vacation, its always we go and ride a huge ship... but on planes, never ever tried one yet. maybe soon i could, hopefully, i really could. but not now, we are planning to go to manila with a friend of mine, but only if my boyfriend is already there so that it wont be such a problem on where and how we could have a good sleep and rest. thanks friend jhelai

I have been on a plane a few times but I feel that the wait at the airport was far longer than the plane ride. Sometimes, the ride to the airport takes longer than the actual plane ride too. Cheers!!

The longest was thirteen hours from Taipei to Los Angeles. The seat wasn't comfy. I wasn't able to stretch my legs.

Hi Flagella, My longest flight was from Sydney to Dubai which took 14 and a half hours. I always fly with Emirates and they have a fantastic entertainment system with hundreds of films, many games and all top music hits going back to 1954. Having all this with a regular supply of excellent food and drinks the time passed very quickly.

i haven't been outside of asia so my flights to other asian countries vary from 2-4 hours for direct flights and almost a day of travel with connecting flights, depending on where the final destination is (but not always inside a plane). as i was reading this post, i was trying to decide which connecting flight took me longest: the laidback (indonesia) yogyakarta-jakarta-singapore-manila or the rushed davao-manila-seoul-jeju island (south korea). i'm not normally bothered by long flights because i'm already accustomed to the long hauls. i usually sleep on the plane anyway if i'm not chatted up by a travelling companion or travelling strangers in the same flight. unless the flight is turbulent which will make me dizzy, travelling by plane is almost like being cooped up in the car so i'm ok. you just might do some leg and arm stretches because it gets tiring at some point. so the idea is to move positions from time to time. since they serve food and drinks and there's a lavatory available... travelling on a flight is pretty much okay. i don't often use the plane's lavatory, so by the time we have deplaned, i would really need to use one at the airport before i take my connecting flight. hehe

1 and a half hour from Zamboanga City to Manila. That's one hour of being uncertain about my life. lol! It's pretty tiring but it's ok. I love being beside the window and would look at the scenery. I can't imagine how high the jet can go. Feels like i'm one notch more then the jet would leave Earth. lol! It's pretty crazy because these steward. couldn't even accommodate a passenger who almost peed on his pants! lol! Well that was me. lol! They keep cordoning the restroom. It was also the worst pee-hold of my life.
