How can you bring glory to God

Jesus told the Father, "I brought glory to you here on earth by doing everything you told me to do." Jesus honored God by fulfilling his purpose on earth. We honor God the same way. When anything in creation fulfills its purpose, it brings glory to God. Birds bring glory to God by flying, chirping, nesting, and doing other bird like activities that God intended. even the lowly ant brings glory to God when it fulfills the purpose it was created for. God made ants to be ants, and he made you to be you. St. Irenaeus said," The glory of God is a human being fully alive!"

i bring glory to god by thanking him, praying ang giving good wishes to other people too. taking care of our own body is also a way of giving glory to God because he made us in his own image. We must take care of our body, heart and soul physically, emotionally and spiritually.

All and everything the Lord can give to us. The only thing we can give to him is our meekness from our free will. The same thing Jesus did, as you said, to feel and to be the Lord's tool. To forget any pride, any power, any self-consciousness.

This is very well said, I like it. Just be what God made you to be, and glorify Him.
He loves us so much and has so much in store for us but we try to do things on owr own, then we fail. The only way to be what He intended us to be is to be close to Him and let Him guide us. He knows us better than we know ourselves.

What of the man who makes it his purpose to question God's design? Or what of those who fail to fulfill their true purpose? What if God's very "laws" restrict us from being "fully alive"? Do we then deserve the right to dismiss God? Did He create us to one day not need him?
I find the idea that we cannot be other than what we were meant to be very difficult for most religions to incorporate.

very well said, bringing glory to god is by living to what GOD wants us to be. As for me, for me to make him happy is by loving my family and the people around me, to eliminate enimies, to forgive people who hurt me and to be more loving. I think following his 10 commandments will be the greatest gift that we can offer to him.

Very true!! We can please God and bring glory to him by accomplishing the tasks we have been sent here for. But, unfortunately these days Humans own this world and don't care about anything but their happiness. All they want is to lead a good life with all luxuries, earn money without bothering if it might be a cause for someone else's downfall.
And all those Bad men, the Terrorists killing innocent people just to claim that "Superiority" reward.
